RAM -( Random Access Memory)

               Ram is short term or temporary memory in our computers, it means that stores current data for a short period of time during the system is running. so the data can eassily used or accessed by system's processor.

RAM gives applications a place to store and access data on a short-term basis. It stores the information your computer is actively using so that it can be accessed quickly. The more programs your system is running, the more you'll need.

ROM- ( Read Only Memory)

Read only memory is a type of non-volatile memory used in computers and other electronic devices. Readon onley mememory is one of the most important primary memories of computer, you can better say the ROM is used to run the most of executable stups with the help of ROM data means thee data which is stored into the computer memory or IC's which are connected on the motherboard of a PC.

ROM contains the programing which allows a computer to start up each time it is turned/switched on. ROM also performs large input/output tasks and protects programs or software and its instructions. Once data is written on a ROM chip, it cannot be removed or changed.

PROM- ( Programable Read Only Memory)


EPROM- (Erasable Programable Read Only Memory)

EEPROM- ( Electrically Erasable Programable Read Only Memory)

CMOS- ( Complementary Metal - Oxide Semiconductor)
